This event is a church service at Zion Baptist Church. We will give out purple ribbons with information cards on getting out and getting help. There will be a PowerPoint presentation of statistics and other information. A domestic violence survivor will give her testimony and read a poem she wrote about domestic violence. She will encourage victims to know there is life after abuse. People deserve to be loved without pain. If there are survivors in the audience, the speaker will invite them to stand if they want to be recognized and applauded.
