Domestic Violence Awareness Month Vigil

The Hopevale Church invites the community to attend an event showcasing the tradition of art as a voice for domestic violence survivors. The church lobby will be transformed into an art gallery featuring “The Shoe Exhibit.” Guests will be able to see how art promotes healing for victims of violence. There will be a vigil honoring Saginaw County's homicide victims of domestic violence and a balloon release as a symbol of lost souls. One community member will be honored for their outstanding work while helping victims and for raising awareness about what the community can do to help.
